Winner of the Golden Globe® for Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) and Oscar nominated for Best Film, The Kids Are All Right is the perfect feel-good movie that follows the everyday lives of a modern American family with just one small difference - two mums rule the roost instead of one!

Directed by Lisa Cholodenko, the film  is a contemporary story of perfectionist doctor Nic (Golden Globe winner and Oscar and BAFTA nominated Annette Bening - Being Julia) and laid back aspiring landscape gardener Jules (BAFTA nominated Julianne Moore - A Single Man) who couldn’t be more settled.

They enjoy a sunny and content Californian lifestyle, experiencing all the gentle ups and downs of daily family life with their two teenage children: daughter Joni (Mia Wasikowska - Alice In Wonderland) and son Laser (Josh Hutcherson - Journey To The Centre Of The Earth).

Just before leaving for college, Joni and Laser decide to track down their biological father, knowing full well that that bringing him into their tight family unit will change the balance of their lives forever.

Meeting their hippyish restaurant owner dad Paul (Oscar and BAFTA nominated Mark Ruffalo - Shutter Island) for the first time, the kids aren’t too impressed, however, his rugged charm and relaxed attitude soon wins them over.

As Joni and Laser’s relationship develops with Paul, Nic and Jules end up having to adjust quickly to the fact he has become a part of their lives.

As their new dad becomes more and more involved with this close-knit family, a strong attraction sparks to life between Jules and Paul with painful consequences for them all.

The Kids Are All Right is an award winning, warm, witty and intelligent film that deals with the often complicated familial relationships in a humorous yet touching way.
