Life and love are never easy on THE HILLS, and its one surprise after another for Lauren and the girls as their friendships start to show signs of stress. Lauren finds an unlikely friend in Spencer's sister Stephanie but with a new friendship, her job responsibilities at Teen Vogue, an ex-boyfriend back in her life and new roommate drama, balance is hard to achieve.
Meanwhile, Lauren's friends; Heidi, Audrina and Whitney face dramas of their own in fast-paced Hollywood. Heidi is playing house with Spencer while dealing with the fall-out of a separation from her best friend Lauren. Audrina is trying to handle the ups and downs of her first 'real' relationship and the stresses of moving in with new 'BFF' Lauren, whilst Whitney is struggling to cope with her blossoming career aspirations.
