Prepare for hours of laughter as your favourite Caltech geniuses try to score as high with the opposite sex as they do on their IQ tests, with the release of The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Fourth Season on Blu-ray and DVD on 13th September. And, if you just can’t wait that long, it’s available to download on iTunes now!
The Big Bang Theory was created by Chuck Lorre (Two and a Half Men) & Bill Prady (Dharma & Greg), who also serve as executive producers along with Lee Aronsohn (Two and a Half Men) and Steven Molaro (The Class). The series stars Johnny Galecki (Roseanne), Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco (Hop), Simon Helberg (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), (NCIS), Mayim Bialik (Blossom) and Melissa Rauch (True Blood).
When socially awkward scientists experiment with love, usually only hilarity ends up as a result! In this season, the gang’s romantic universe expands as Leonard (Galecki), Howard (Helberg), Raj (Nayyar) and even Sheldon (Parsons) test their skills outside of the lab.
On the rebound from Penny (Cuoco), Leonard falls into the arms of Raj’s sister, Priya (Farrah Fowler). Sheldon finally gets a girlfriend - or rather a friend who is a girl - Amy (Bialik), a dour neurobiologist who adopts Penny as her new best friend. Howard and Bernadette’s (Rauch) chemistry heats up - and so do Raj and Bernadette (at least in Raj’s Bollywood daydream!) The romantic twists and turns, both real and imagined, continue to bring on the laughs in this award-winning series.
In addition to the entire fourth season of this smart and charming comedy, The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Fourth Season contains these brand-new bonus features:
- Actor on Actor: The Big Bang Theory of Relativity: a fun and lighthearted exclusive features the stars of the show conducting interviews with each other about their experiences working on one of TVs hottest comedies
- Gag Reel
- BLU-RAY EXCLUSIVE: The Big Bang Theory Live Featurette: Experience the excitement and magic of a live taping of the show...and much more
