Straight from bewitching viewers on ITV2, comes the new comedy-drama Switch available to own on DVD from 26 November 2012 from ITV Studios Home Entertainment.
Take four girls, add some flirting, stir in a quantity of heady rebelliousness, a pinch of risk-taking, several spoonfuls of true friendship and Stella, Jude, Grace and Hannah are born. Four young twenty-somethings based in London’s edgy Camden Town who just happen to be witches!
Bringing together their supernatural talents, Lacey Turner (Eastenders, Bedlam), Nina Toussaint-White (Doctor Who, Eastenders), Phoebe Fox, (Black Mirror, New Tricks) and Hannah Tointon (The Inbetweeners, Hollyoaks) make up the Witches of Camden in this vibrant, romantic and energetic series.
Jude (Toussaint-White) is a bolshie wannabe fashion designer and the fiery one of the group. Business savvy Stella (Turner) is the careerist, but don't let the power suits fool you, she's really the mum of the bunch and very down to earth.
The baby of the quartet, Grace (Fox) is still adjusting to fast-flowing life in the Big City, but as the most traditional of the witches she shouldn't be underestimated. Just whatever you do, don't mention it to her mum, played by Caroline Quentin (Life of Riley, Jonathan Creek).
Hannah (Tointon) is the traveller of the pack. Her flighty nature has taken her all over the world. More than a bit restless and a massive commitment-phobe, she just goes wherever the wind may take her.
From the producers of Being Human and the co-writers of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, Switch sees this coven of best friends use the four elements to cast spells, for everything from love potions and tackling terrible bosses to dealing with their sworn enemies; the Witches of Kensington.
