Stone

Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro and Oscar® nominee Edward Norton deliver powerful performances as a seasoned corrections official and a scheming inmate whose lives become dangerously intertwined in Stone, which is out on DVD and Blu-ray on 28th March 2011 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

A riveting and thought-provoking drama directed by John Curran (The Painted Veil, We Don’t Live Here Anymore) and written by Angus McLachlan (Junebug), STONE boasts excellent performances from its acclaimed cast.

As parole officer Jack Mabry (De Niro) counts the days toward a quiet retirement, he is asked to review the case of Gerald “Stone” Creeson (Norton), in prison for covering up the murder of his grandparents with a fire.

Now eligible for early release, Stone needs to convince Jack he has reformed, but his attempts to influence the older man’s decision have profound and unexpected effects on them both.

Seeing little hope in convincing Jack himself, Stone arranges for his wife Lucetta (Milla Jovovich - Resident Evil franchise, The Fifth Element) to seduce the officer, but motives and intentions steadily blur amidst the passions and buried secrets of the corrupted players in this deadly game of deception.

Also starring Golden Globe® winner Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under), Stone is out on DVD and Blu-ray from the 28th March 2011 (RRP £12.99 on DVD and £15.99 on Blu-ray).
