As a special treat to his devoted fans on 6th September 2010 Universal will release a brand spanking new Special Edition Birthday DVD for us all to wish Mr Bean many happy returns!
Along with the Mr Bean Birthday Edition DVD, the classic Live Action TV series will be digitally remastered on four new DVD releases to enjoy the full Bean-tastic effect.
Don’t forget there’s also available the two fantastic Bean feature films, the animates series; all as individual DVDs to collect or in box sets to give to the Bean fan in everyone’s lives.
After two decades of making young and old throughout the world laugh out loud, whether it’s stuffing a turkey or having a picnic, Mr Bean is a jolly Bean fellow indeed!

Mr Bean is one of the most recognised and beloved UK characters of the last two decades, the first episode was transmitted on ITV 1st January 1990, with only 14 live action episodes ever made; it was the most successful TV show of the decade.
Transmitted to over 190 countries, and shown on over 50 airlines, Mr Bean has now been watched by millions of people from different generations, making him virtually a family member to countless people all over the globe.
To date there have been 185 million views of Mr Bean clips on YouTube and he still gets over 30,000 hits a day (he now has his very own channel) - of course the only way to relive the comedy genius is through the digitally remastered DVDs!
Subsequent to the Live Action Series, there have been two Bean feature films: Mr Bean Ultimate Disaster Movie (1997) one of the highest grossing UK movies ever made and Mr Bean’s Holiday (2007) which topped the box office in over 30 countries.
The animated series was launched in 2002 with 26 half hour episodes and is currently seen in over 60 countries. To date he has won numerous world-wide awards including a Golden Rose of Montreux, an International Emmy, two BANFF Awards and an ACE Award for best Comedy.
