Life of Riley

Life of Riley

It’s hard to be a parent these days especially when you’re on your second marriage!

Popular comic actress Caroline Quentin (Men Behaving Badly, Jonathan Creek) finds herself in such a situation in the brilliant new BBC sitcom Life Of Riley.

Life Of Riley will be released on DVD on 6 April 2009 courtesy of Acorn Media.

Quentin plays Maddy, recently married to Jim (Neil Dudgeon - Roman’s Empire, Messiah), both of whom discover what happens when two families collide.

Suddenly Maddy is at the head of a modern day extended family made up of a new baby, stepchildren, stepsiblings and half-siblings, with a few ex-partners and in-laws thrown in for good measure.

Maddy and Jim are constantly finding themselves outwitted by people a quarter of their age. And
no matter how hard they try to do the right thing, it always seems to go wrong.

Having recently finished its first series on BBC One and BBC HD, Life Of Riley has maintained a loyal audience throughout its run, appealing to families young and old alike, and fits perfectly into the mould of the classic British sitcom. Life Of Riley shows that great British comedy is still alive, well and as funny as ever.
