Just Another Love Story” is about Jonas (Anders W. Berthelsen) - a family man with a wife (Charlotte Fich) and two children - whose fate takes a dramatic and unexpected turn when he finds that he may have been the cause of a young woman’s, Julia’s (Rebecka Hemse), car accident.
When Julia wakes up with amnesia in hospital the day after the accident, she is visited by Jonas but in a bizarre case of mistaken identity both she and her family believe that Jonas is Sebastian, her new, exotic boyfriend (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) whom they have all been expecting from abroad.
Jonas assumes Sebastian’s identity and plays the role as the man Julia believes is the love of her life.
A whole new identity, a whole new existence and an expansive and limitless life opens up to Jonas. But reality is not based on fantasy and exotic dreams - and one day there is a knock at the door…
