Trinity presents the highly anticipated neo-noir atmospheric thriller I Come With The Rain from critically acclaimed Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung, released at selected cinemas from 22 April 2011.
The outstanding cast includes Josh Hartnett (Black Hawk Down, Lucky Number Slevin, 30 Days of Night), Elias Koteas (Shutter Island The Curios Case of Benjamin Button), Lee Byung-hun (The Good, The Bad, The Weird and Hero), Shawn Yue (Infernal Affairs 1 & 2), and Takuya Kimura (Hero).
Beautifully shot, with stunning cinematography and mouth watering backdrops, I Come With The Rain plays to an amazing soundtrack by Radiohead. The band's Jonny Greenwood subsequently composed the original score to Tran Anh Hung's Norwegian Wood (in cinemas 11 March).
I Come With The Rain is a brutal and compelling story of Ex-Los Angeles cop turned private eye Kline (Hartnett), who travels to Hong Kong in search of Shitao (Kimura), the missing son of a Chinese billionaire.
Enlisting Meng Zi (Yue), a friend and former colleague now working for the Hong Kong police, Kline follows a faint trail left by the ethereal Shitao. The path leads to local gangster Su Dongpo (Byung-hun) and his beautiful, drug-addicted girlfriend Lili (Tran Nu Yen Khe).
But Kline is distracted from his search, haunted by memories of the serial killer Hasford (Koteas), whose 'body of work' was the reason Kline quit the police force...
Director Tran Anh Hung (Norwegian Wood, in cinemas 11 March) describes I Come With The Rain as "a baroque action film, a passionate thriller, both intense and poetic, haunted by three figures from the mythology of film and of the western world: serial killer, private investigator and Christ like figure. In this movie, the flesh will be both frightening and splendid".
Released on Blu-ray & DVD 2 May 2011
