Punch destiny in the face with the knock-out comedy Goon, releasing on DVD and Blu-ray on 4th June 2012, from Entertainment One.
When local bouncer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott - American Pie; Role Models) dreams of becoming an ice hockey star like the infamous Ross Rhea (Liev Schreiber - X-Men Origins: Wolverine) he has no idea what’s about to hit him. Literally.
After a chance encounter with an on-ice thug leads to a bloody fist fight that Doug easily wins, the Halifax Highlanders coach sets him squarely in his sights - after a few skating lessons that is.
Armed with nothing but his mammoth strength, simple charm and his brother’s figure skates, Doug manages to join the team and thanks to best friend and hockey fanatic Ryan (Jay Baruchel - Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder) soon becomes their rising star.
Now faced with the opportunity to fight Ross 'The Boss' Rhea and finally land himself a girlfriend (Alison Pill - Scott Pilgrim Vs The World), Doug must throw the punch of his life - and not fall over in the process.
Written by Jay Baruchel and Evan Goldberg (Pineapple Express, Superbad), Goon is the must-have comedy to own this summer - after all, if you can’t beat him, join him on DVD and Blu-ray on 4th June.
