Catherine (Julianne Moore) is married to David (Liam Neeson) and at first glance they are the perfect couple, with respected careers and a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life.
However, Catherine suspects that David has been unfaithful and after a chance encounter with the alluring Chloe (Amanda Seyfried), Catherine decides to hire her as an escort to seduce her husband.
Catherine ‘directs’ Chloe’s encounters with David and absorbs the explicit details Chloe shares of their passionate trysts. Catherine finds herself ignited with jealousy and rapidly loses control of her own life to Chloe.
