In 1972, a plane carrying young men from a Uruguayan rugby team, crashed high in the Andes.
Survivors were forced to eat the bodies of their dead friends, and now a haunting movie tells the story like never before.
This time the story is told from the survivorsâ perspective who make an emotional pilgrimage to the crash site.
Stranded has its UK premiere during the third Nissan Adventure Film Festival which will be taking place from 15th to 23rd September at Vue cinemas round the country.
The film will be shown on Wednesday 17th September.
The festival will showcase the very best short and feature length films over five themed evenings.
Viewers will be taken from a journey from the heights of Mount Everest, to the shark-infested waters off the coast of South Africa.
