Moving to a new town, meeting new friends and starting at a new school would perhaps have something to do with it, as well as having to cope with living in an all-male household! Missing her mother who died when she was very young, Alice looks for new role models in her new teachers Mrs Plotkins and Miss Cole by auditioning for the new school musical The Princess and the Frog.
Whist surviving the embarrassments of being ‘the new girl’ unfortunately music doesn’t come as naturally to Alice as with her musician dad and rockstar brother, but with the help of the new people in her life she learns more about who she really is.
