If you see Santa in your dreams, it’s possible you need to be more giving, accepting and or forgiving of others.
You need to treat others the way you would treat yourself rather than always putting yourself first.
On the other hand, it could mean that you are reflecting on the good and bad things you’ve done and deciding if you are deserving of someone or something in your life as a result.
If you or someone else was dressed as Santa, perhaps you need to consider how others feel and put yourself in their shoes for once.
Another interpretation- if you were the one dressing up, is that you’re feeling sad right now and want to put on a mask to appear happy and jolly to others. Especially given the time of year when it’s expected that people will be in a positive frame of mind.
If you were having a picture with Santa- this is related to memories of the holidays. Perhaps you have been reminiscing over your favourite Christmas stories lately with those who were involved.
Santa Claus is also linked to feelings of getting everything you deserve. Perhaps you feel you’ve earned something this year and are happy to enjoy the benefits. On the flipside, you may not believe that you are worthy of what you’ve been handed. If so, perhaps you can learn from this lesson and work harder next time.
Santa Claus is associated with your childhood too and the connection you have with your parents. Perhaps you need to bring some of that magic from your younger years to the present for your own family. Or maybe the dream is telling you to make a bigger effort with your parents if you have drifted apart.
More negatively, Santa Claus might represent the lies you’ve been told by the people you trust the most. Consider why these mistruths were told- perhaps they were for good reason. The people you care about may have done it to protect you, to help you feel included or even to help you enjoy a moment more fully. Don’t judge too quickly.
