When you dream of walking in mud, it can be a sign that you will lose confidence in yourself, which could affect you when doing the simplest of things.

You may feel like something is weighing you down or you're stuck in your waking life. Perhaps you believe yourself to be in an embarrassing or unfair situation at present.
It can also signify a messy situation you have found yourself in or are close to someone who is in a sticky spot. Some spiritual cleansing may be needed here in order to move on.
If you see others walking in mud, it's possible you will hear ugly rumours about a friend, family member or colleague.
If you saw mud on your clothing- your reputation or integrity is being attacked by someone. Perhaps you have done something that not many people support or someone has made an unfair judgement about you and you're trying to escape the association.
However if you scarped it off, it's probable that you will be able regain your reputation once people know the truth.
