Dreaming about lemons could be symbolic of some bitterness you hold towards someone or something in your waking life. Or perhaps you have bitterness towards life itself if you feel you have been dealt a bad hand. Is it worth all your time and energy or is it the right moment to let it go?

Lemons could also mean that a relationship or situation has turned unexpectedly sour. It may have seemed ok on the outside but once you’ve delved a little deeper, you’ve discovered that all is not as it seemed. Does this mean you need to distance yourself from the thing that has turned sour? Or do you have a means of sweetening it back up again?
If you were sucking on a lemon in your dream then you may need some time to heal or cleanse your mind or your body. Perhaps you have been neglecting your health lately or suffered a period of illness and need some time to recover.

If you were squeezing a lemon then you may need to be more economical in your waking hours if your financial situation is under a bit of pressure right now. Alternately, it could be a warning to you to stop spending as you are or you may find yourself in a sour spot with your money.
When the lemon is rotten in your dreamscape, then you may have missed out one great opportunity. Perhaps the next time something similar comes along- don’t let it pass you by. Or is there any way the opportunity could be available to you again?
Think about the phrase- ‘if life gives you lemons- make lemonade’- perhaps you have experienced some misfortune lately- but the dream is telling you to be optimistic and have a can-do attitude rather than focusing on the difficult or unpleasant situation that has now passed.
