On the other hand, it could reflect the things you feel you HAVE to do because it’s Christmas.
Perhaps you feel pressure to do something like entertain, socialise, be merry or spend lots of money, when you don’t want to. If you don’t feel in the spirit of Christmas it might be time to either let people know what you would rather do or fake it till you make it for the sake of those you care about.
Eggnog is a calorific drink, so perhaps your dream is telling you to cut back on the indulgences and consider your health more. It may not be the best time of year to do so but there is still room for moderation.
Eggnog can also be about Christmas tradition. It’s possible you’ve done something every year since you can remember, and this year is the exception. You could try and embrace the newness or find a way to incorporate some of the best bits of years gone by in your new plan.
Eggnog is generally served between thanksgiving and New Year, so if you aren’t a fan of the drink perhaps it represents something you think has outstayed its welcome.
Something or someone has stuck around for longer than you’d have liked them/it to. If this is the case, can you talk to the person about giving you some space? Maybe there is a way to distance or rid yourself from the unwanted thing that has hung around.
More positively, if you like the drink perhaps you are enjoying the extended period of company, feeling or whatever it might be that doesn’t appear to be leaving any time soon.
If you are unable to consume eggs in your waking hours, to drink eggnog in a dream could indicate something you’re doing that you’re not supposed to be. Or something you are doing you know will make you feel worse if you continue with it. Try to think of the repercussions of your actions- while it might seem like a good idea at first, you know deep down that you will regret it later down the line.

A hot cup of cocoa is something children tend to drink more than adults. With this said, perhaps you need to repeat something from your childhood that made you feel good.
