If you dream about a doll, it’s possible you want to escape from your life and be someone else for a while.

You want to run away from your problems and responsibilities because they are all becoming too much for you to handle. The doll is symbolic of your wishes and desires to be carefree- like you were when you were a child.
Dolls are also representative of your childhood and innocent fun. Perhaps you need to bring some elements of your childhood into your adult life to make it more bearable. Or are you being too childlike in your life and need to grow up and act your age?
On the flipside, you may be trying to come to terms with something that happened in your youth.
If you were playing with a doll, there is a disconnection between your subconscious and conscious mind. Perhaps you need to find a way to listen to both to find some balance.

Playing with a doll could be telling you that someone is being dishonest or that you want to say something but are afraid to and wish someone else would say it for you.
It might also indicate an immature attitude when it comes to dating and romance. Perhaps this is why you are struggling to find a partner.
If the doll was in a dollhouse- you may have idealistic notions about your family life. Perhaps you need to be more realistic when it comes to your family or what you want for it as you will only be disappointed if you aspire for perfection.
Consider the state of the doll- if it was in good condition, the you may look back at your past with a fondness. However, if the doll was in a bad way- perhaps you had a troubled childhood and you are struggling to cope with the things that happened within it- even now.

Tennis balls are interpreted as you going back and forth on an issue. You aren’t quite sure yet which way to go. Perhaps a pros and cons list would help. A football might mirror a conflict you are having with someone else in your life at present. Perhaps you are struggling to see eye to eye. It might be wise to agree to disagree if you are never going to meet in the middle. Sometimes it’s ok to be the polar opposite on an issue- it keeps life interesting. Basketballs are about having specific goals- where there is little room for manoeuvre. You know where you want to be and what steps you need to take to get there because any deviation will result in failure. Do you need to be more focused in order to achieve your dreams? Baseballs are also thought to represent something you want to cleanse yourself of. Consider what is holding you back and think about what your life would look like if that thing, attitude, belief was no longer there anymore.
