Tamzin Outhwaite and Linda Robson were among the stars who celebrated the first birthday of 'Beautiful - The Carole King Musical' at the Aldwych Theatre last night (23.02.16).
The former 'EastEnders' star and the 'Loose Women' panellist piled in to the West End theatre yesterday as they watched the impressive performance of the jukebox musical to mark one year since the show hit the London stage.
Not only that, they also celebrated the February birthdays of the legendary Carole King, Barry Mann and the late Gerry Goffin, as well as the 45th anniversary of when the singer's Grammy-award winning album 'Tapestry' was released.
The show tells the untold story of Carole's journey from school girl to superstar; from her relationship with husband and song-writing partner Gerry, their close friendship and playful rivalry with fellow song-writing duo Barry and Cynthia Weil, to her remarkable rise to stardom and success.
The incredible production has just entered its second year in London's West End and it looks set to be a successful one as it has just been announced that the show will continue to light up the capital's theatre hot spot until February 18, 2017.
It's also one of the West End productions eligible to receive this year's Olivier Magic Radio Audience Award.
Meanwhile, also in attendance at last night's show was Liz McClarnon, Jeremy Vine, Mitch Winehouse, Vanessa Feltz, Dame Kelly Holmes and Lady Colin Campbell.
