1 – SALLY WEBSTER

Corrie is my not-so-guilty pleasure! I’ll watch it proudly on catch up on the train to gigs! Sally Webster to me is one of the funniest characters. It’s just that basic humour that really tickles me as it’s done with such a straight face. She’s the Hyacinth Bucket of the street. “Tim get out of the pub I need you to trim my bush” – sometimes it’s the simple things.

2 – WENDY BAILEY

My mum is one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. She makes me laugh just by looking at her. She refuses to wear a bra because we’re council. She goes to Slimming World and is proud when she’s only put on a pound. She doesn’t understand it at all. She quits in once a month and rejoins once a month!

3 – ONLINE DATING

It’s the way we speak to each other online that cracks me up. Like no one is going to come up to you at a bar and show you their genitalia before saying hello!

4 – AMY SCHUMER

This comedian will talk about anything. She is one of the first comics that I saw before I started that genuinely made me laugh out loud! She just goes hard and I love that especially when people try to rein me in! I think Amy didn’t and look at her fly bebe!

5 – THE WORD ‘GOBBLE’

I mean to be honest, anything in the “gob” family makes me smile! It’s just a funny sound GOBLIN, GOBBLE!

6 – LONDON HUGHES

London is my friend and three hours in her company feels like five minutes. Her laugh is infectious and you can just spend the afternoon howling in her company! She has the dirtiest laugh and it tickles me!

7 – DAD JOKES

I love and hate in equal measure! I went on holiday with my parents last year for the first time in a decade and it was not the right thing to do. We went all inclusive and I’ll never go all inclusive ever again and it’s not because I’m the fatty at the wrong end of the buffet. It’s this joke my dad kept doing. So we are all inclusive and my dad would be like “Stephen I’m going to the bar, can I get you a drink” and I’d be like “yes please that would be lovely” and he’d say “I’ll get this round”. Funny on THE FIRST DAY, thereafter you’re just trapped on the costa del sol with him for ten days

8 – DIRTY LAUGHS

Please let me refer you back to London Hughes Number 6. If a laugh can make you laugh. That’s a skill.

9 – LOUIE SPENCE

I recently spent some time with Louie and he made me laugh for hours. Smart, lovely, caring man and just a fully bonafide entertainer! Don’t believe me? Youtube BEST OF LOUIE SPENCE – you’re welcome.
