Denise Van Outen has today (02.10.13) transformed into star athlete as she launches Sainsbury's first ever 'Sport Relief Games'.
Three sporting challenges for Sport Relief will be open to the public for the first time ever - swimming, running and cycling - and will all feature over one gigantic weekend from March 21 to March 23 2014.
Denise said: "I love Sport Relief and even took part in a mile event when I was pregnant! This year I'm going to do something more challenging and swim 5km.
She continued: "My three year old, Betsy, has just started having swimming lessons so I thought it was time for mummy to learn properly too as I've never been very confident in the water, so the Sport Relief swim really will be a challenge for me."
Over a thousand venues will host the challenges, including landmark events at what will then be the reopened Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Those who wish to guarantee their spot at the Park, or at any of the other hundreds of venues across the UK can enter at www.sportrelief.com
Whatever challenge the public sign up to take part in, the money they raise will go towards helping some of the most disadvantaged people both in the UK and around the world.
