Zachary Quinto doesn't like being alone.
The 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star finds it more relaxing to be around his friends or going out to meet new people when he isn't working because he prefers to be social.
Asked how he likes to relax from his busy schedule, the 36-year-old actor exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the 25th annual Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland on Saturday (13.07.13): "I'm pretty low key. I like to just be with people. I find relaxation about connecting, that's sort of my nature. Some people like solitude, some people like quiet, I like to connect, I like to talk to people, I like to be around my friends. I like to be social."
The 'Margin Call' star, who is set to star in the Broadway play 'The Glass Menagerie' in New York in September, also revealed that he likes to challenge his mind and body in different ways when he isn't on set.
He explained: "When I'm in Los Angeles I go hiking a lot, when I'm in New York, I run a lot. I like to play the banjo. I'm all right. I only just started this year. I can play a few songs and I want to get better so I'm going to start taking lessons again. I wasn't able to study for the last few months because I've been travelling so much, so now that I'm settling, I'm about to do a play in New York and when I'm doing a play my time immediately gets structured so it's great. I do yoga a lot and that is something I am able to incorporate into my life wherever I am."
