Zach Galifianakis' wife is in labour.
The 'Hangover 3' star skipped the premiere of his new movie 'You Are Here' at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (07.09.13) because his wife, Quinn Lundberg, was admitted to hospital to give birth to their first child.
The movie's director Matthew Weiner confirmed the actor is about to become a father to E! News, saying: "We literally found out on Friday."
He added: "Zach is going to be the best dad in the world."
The low-key actor has not spoken about Quinn's pregnancy and the couple never even confirmed they got married.
The 43-year-old actor tied the knot with long-term girlfriend in a "super private" ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, in August 2012.
A source previously said: "The wedding ceremony was held at UBC Farm at 4 pm. It was super private and intimate and only lasted about 30 minutes - everyone was out by 5 pm."
The actor and his 29-year-old bride - who is the co-founder of charity Growing Voices - then held a reception at a nearby restaurant.
Zach's close friend Amy Poehler confirmed his nuptials at the time, saying: "[I'm] so happy for him, and Quinn, his wife, is so amazing. They're awesome. He's awesome."
The 'Due Date' star has previously spoken about his desire to settle down and have a large family.
He said: "I've been wanting kids for 10 years. I'd love to adopt, have them naturally -- all of it. I want, like, 15."
