Zach Braff has admitted he wants "20 kids".
The 42-year-old actor is currently starring as a father of two in his new ABC sitcom 'Alex, Inc.', but the star is single and has no children of his own, although he admits he would love to have a huge brood.
He said: "I want so many [kids]. I want like 20. But I'm behind. I'm 42, so I have to find the right woman and just start making babies."
Although Zach is on the lookout for love, he insists he isn't a fan of dating apps after an experience with one "felt odd", and he would rather find his match the old fashioned way.
Speaking to People magazine, he said: "I tried one, the one for Hollywood actor types. I did date a woman that I met on there for a while, and she was awesome, but then I turned it off. It just felt a smidgeon odd."
The former 'Scrubs' actor has remained largely silent when it comes to his private life and has never outwardly discussed who he has dated, but in 2014 it was reported that he had split from his model girlfriend of five years Taylor Bagley, who has since moved on with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.
His representative said at the time: "Zach and Taylor broke up over a month ago. They are continuing their friendship but are no longer a couple."
Zach remained tight-lipped about his lengthy romance with the blonde beauty, but did admit after a cocktail party in New York that his favourite part of their relationship was "having a best friend to do all sorts of fun things with."
At the time of their split, sources claimed Taylor had wanted Zach to propose to her, but other insiders disputed the reports and said they separation was caused by Zach's decision to star in Broadway play 'Bullets Over Broadway'.
One source said: "The idea of marriage didn't play a factor into their split at all. Zach has been a musical theatre geek his whole life. This has been everything he's ever wanted."
