Zac Efron says the story of his broken jaw was "kind of cool".
Zac Efron is proud of his "cool" fall which left him with a broken jaw after he slipped and fell over the fountain he has in his home.
The actor fell on his face late last year but he doesn't mind recounting the tale because he gets to tell people about the "fountain" he has in his home.
Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', he said: "I was running through my house and I slipped and fell on my face. Let me start over, because the story starts kind of cool.
"I have a fountain in my house. That's kind of dope, right? So I was running through and slipped on water and hit my chin on the fountain in my house. It's not a big fountain, but it's a fountain in my house."
Meanwhile, the star revealed his injury forced him to change his diet, and he described his recovery as "pretty gnarly".
He added: "It was pretty gnarly. I was drinking foods solidly for six weeks - only liquid foods. It sucked... I lost, like, 10-12lbs."
Zac's friend Adam Shankman - who directed him in 'Hairspray - has opened up about helping, but admitted he still treated him like a "little brother".
He previously joked: "He's like my little brother, has been since 'Hairspray'.
"So I talk to him like a little brother, which means I give him a lot of s**t ... He has always been a klutz ... This is like a perfect Zac move."
