The 20-year-old singer and actress – who is the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith – reportedly filed documents this month requesting that a 38-year-old man named Walter James Whaley is made to stay away from her by law.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Willow alleged Whaley climbed a fence to get onto her property in December, and appeared to be looking for a way to enter her house.

Willow claims her security called police and they showed up right away, but did not apprehend Whaley at the time.

The ‘Overthinking IT’ singer also claims police found a Greyhound bus ticket which indicated Whaley had travelled to Los Angeles from Oklahoma just one day before trespassing on Willow’s property.

Willow included photos of the alleged incident that appear to show Whaley on her property, and said she feels frightened by the man because she claims he “will do whatever possible to make physical contact with me”.

The documents go on to claim Whaley had been contacting Willow on social media, where he made posts saying he wanted to marry her and have children with her.

TMZ has reported Willow has already been granted her restraining order, with a judge determining Whaley must stay 100 yards away from her at all times and stop communicating with her.

Meanwhile, Willow recently explained she suffers from “extreme anxiety”, and deals with the feeling of being overwhelmed by going into a “cocoon” where she can just “be with” herself.

Speaking to her mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, and grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris in December, she said: “Four days ago, I was having extreme anxiety. I couldn’t talk, I had to just cocoon and like be with myself for a moment.

“That was so important because it would have been so much more intense if I had been looking to you to be like, ‘Help me!’

“And then, when I was ready, I opened the cocoon.”
