'The Last Man on Earth' star, who formerly dated January Jones, attended the FOX All-Star party at Pasadena's Langham Hotel showing off his new look.
On one side, Will had shaved off his hair, eyebrow and beard, while the other side was left bushy and shaggy.
It's believed his bizarre new appearance is something to do with his television series.
Also attending the party was Will's co-star Mel Rodriguez, who joined him with the half-shaved look.
Speaking recently about the upcoming next season of post-apocalyptic television show, Will said there was one aspect of preparing for shooting that he was particularly excited about.
He told Entertainment Weekly: "There is one thing that I have been so excited about and it is going to be the dumbest-looking thing you have ever seen."
Will stars in the programme, which he created, with January, with the pair apparently still on good terms.
The 38-year-old actress posed alongside her former beau at the bash, looking stylish in a pretty printed monochrome dress.
January and Will dated for five months before splitting in September 2015.
According to reports, it was the fact that January didn't want to commit that caused their break up.
