Will Ferrell hosted a live newscast as his alter ego Ron Burgundy on Saturday night (30.11.13).
The 46-year-old actor donned his iconic 'Anchorman' burgundy suit and moustache to present a real news broadcast on KXMB in North Dakota with award-winning host Amber Schatz.
The blonde journalist struggled to maintain her composure as Will often strayed from the auto queue to introduce reports on a variety of items including Movember, speeding motorists and a Black Friday fire.
The hilarious newscast was just one of several promotional stunts the actor has taken part in ahead of the release of 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,' which will hit cinemas on December 20.
The actor is also set to team up with Robin Thicke in character as Ron Burgundy to film a music video.
The 'Blurred Lines' singer and the legendary star have already recorded a cover of Christopher Cross' 1980 hit 'Ride Like The Wind' for the movie's soundtrack and reportedly want to make a video to promote the song but are struggling to find the time.
An insider previously said: "Everyone's on board for a proper music video, but Will's concerned about his schedule."
Will also appeared as the 1970's San Diego anchorman in a spoof with Daft Punk for the European Music Awards in Amsterdam last month.
