Vince Vaughn has urged Noel and Liam Gallagher to "bury the hatchet".
The 46-year-old actor has admitted he would love nothing more than for the brothers and Oasis band members, who split up in 2008 after he locked horns with his brother Noel, to draw a close to their long-running feud and get back onto talking terms again.
Speaking to NME.com about the musical duo, the 'The Internship' star said: "I do like a bit of Oasis.
"I like both of them. I'd like to see them bury the hatchet, those two. They've got to let it go at some point."
And Liam, 44, has continued to add fuel to the fire between him and his older brother Noel, 49, as he regularly tweets about him and has previously referred to his sibling as a "clown" and a "c***", although he has no plans to stop slamming him.
Speaking previously, he tweeted: "I've heard [my tweets] really annoy him. Someone told me the other week that the only thing that does his nut in are my tweets. Good. They will carry on and they will get bigger and better (sic)."
However, Liam has revealed the social media attacks aren't the sole reason "stopping" him from reuniting with his brother and getting the band back together.
He explained: "[Noel] wants to be in a solo band. If people think me having a dig on Twitter is what's stopping the band getting back together, they're mad."
Since the band disbanded the brothers decided to their separate ways and evolved their own projects, which saw Noel form his own band called Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, whilst Liam formed Beady Eye, which included all former members of Oasis Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and drummer Chris Sharrock, as well as former Kasabian guitarist Jay Mehler.
Although Liam doesn't regret leaving Oasis when he did, he has made no secret of the fact he'd reform the group "tomorrow" if Noel agreed to jump on board the reunion because there has been a "big hole" in his life since their split.
He explained his reasons for a reunion: "Not because of money - I'm far from skint, believe you me. I love that band. That's putting it out there. I still think we could make good records. I'd love it. There has been a big hole in my life since 2008."
