Vin Diesel believes he's had the "best body in New York for decades."
The 'Fast and Furious' star, who is known for his ripped six pac, was slapped with fat jibes earlier this month when photographs emerged of him sporting a rounder belly.
But he has admitted he's been able to brush off the negative 'dad body' comments quite easily because his usually ripped physique is one that's been praised for many years.
Speaking to Complex magazine, he said: "It's like, dad bod goes viral. Like really? I mean, a) I don't have to be in front of the camera for a couple months and b) I really am a dad.
"I'm okay because I've had the best body in New York City for decades. There is no love lost there for me. I sing on my Facebook. You don't get more dangerous than that, right? I was a bouncer at 17. I play fat roles sometimes."
Meanwhile, the 48-year-old star may not be bothered by his physical fitness but his seven-year-old daughter Hania Riley's is one he takes very seriously as he's set the youngster up with training with UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.
He told WENN: "I made a decision early on that I was going to do everything in my power to empower her to handle it herself. Because of her 'auntie' Ronda Rousey, she is now an orange belt with stripes in judo.
"I'm dealing with it early. I'm creating a beast and I want her to be able to say 'No means no.' "
Vin also has daughter Pauline, seven months, and son Vincent, five, with his wife Paloma Jimenez.
