Vin Diesel has taken to his Facebook account to pay an emotional tribute to his "brother" Paul Walker, who died on Saturday (30.11.13).
The 46-year-old actor, who appeared alongside the 40-year-old star in four of the franchise's six movies, took to his Facebook page to post a picture of the pair and a touching tribute to his good friend, who tragically died in a car crash on Saturday (30.11.13), describing him as a "brother" and insisting he will always love him.
Quoting Scottish poet Thomas Campbell, he wrote: "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die." Thomas Campbell."
Vin - who played Dominic Toretto in the film franchise, opposite Paul's character Brian O'Conner - added: "Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now... and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us... on me...
"I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were... on and off screen. (sic)"
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who starred alongside Paul in the action film franchise's 2011 movie 'Fast Five', has also paid tribute to the late actor - who leaves behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow - and told of how the pair used to bond by talking about their children.
Speaking to 'Entertainment Weekly', the 41-year-old star - who has a 12-year-old daughter Simone - said: "When I first met Paul, I think in our late 20s, we were young kids in the business. Then years later, when I did 'Fast Five', we had an opportunity to spend a lot of time together and become reacquainted.
"At that time, we had both been in the business at that time for over a decade, and the most important thing that we had in common was the importance of family time and being a great father to our daughters. We bonded over that.
"It was always the number one topic we would talk about. We would talk about silly guy things, his fast cars and my pickup trucks, or we would talk about the beautiful energy of Hawaii -- but it always ultimately came back to family. And very specifically the beautiful and important bond between a father and his daughter, and how we both realised that over the years."
