Victoria Beckham is "really, really happy".
The 42-year-old fashion designer - who has children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and Harper, five, with husband David Beckham - thinks her contentment in her personal and professional life is reflected in her latest collection.
She said: "There's not one single thing in the collection I wouldn't wear myself, not one piece.
"I'd say [the collection] was easy and happy. And I guess that's how I feel.
"I'm really lucky to absolutely love what I do and for things to be going so well and to have such a great family - all those things and I think that's what you can see in the collection. I'm really, really happy."
The former Spice Girls singer admits she is much more comfortable with herself than she was 20 years ago.
Asked if being older is sexy, she told Britain's Grazia magazine: "I think so, and I know that I feel happier in my skin now than I did at 20.
"With age comes experience, assuredness and knowledge, all of which are very desirable attributes in a woman."
Victoria is a "girly girl" at heart and loves getting dressed up.
She said: "I think I'm quite a girly girl at heart and I enjoy the whole process of getting dressed up - from choosing an outfit to having my hair and make-up done - I always have. For me, it's a way of celebrating being a woman."
But backstage at her New York Fashion Week show earlier this month, Victoria was pictured in a simple shirt, slouchy linen trousers and comfortable sandals, a far cry from her usual polished look.
And the designer admits she is always too busy on show days to worry about what she looks like.
She said: "That's just what I wear to work. There's just too much going on on the day of the show to get myself all done up, but you're right, not many people see me dressed like that."
