Victoria Beckham has claimed the title of Britain's most successful entrepreneur.
The singer-turned-fashion designer has topped a list of over 100 business men and women after seeing a turnover in her fashion empire rise from £1 million to £30 million in just five years.
Management Today magazine's Andrew Saunders compiled the list, and said to The Daily Telegraph: "She's got a real business, some design talent and some business nous. She gets a lot of stick for being a celeb fashionista but I don't think that's fair.
"She has built something real out of her own celebrity which is quite a contemporary story. She deserves to be celebrated.
Victoria launched the eponymous label in 2008, opening her first stand-alone boutique in London just last month.
Now according to Management Today, she has a personal fortune of £210 million, which also pushed her towards the top spot.
Factors such as numbers of jobs created, overall estimated wealth and sales figures over half a decade were considered when compiling the list.
Second place went to Amit and Meeta Patel, founders of pharmaceutrical group Auden McKenzie, and third went to Boohoo.com's Mahmud Kamani.
