Victoria Beckham plans to splash out £500,000 on a "James Bond-style" kitchen.
The fashion designer and her husband David recently splashed out £40 million on a new London home and she is enlisting the services of her interior designer friend Kelly Hoppen to redesign the property, complete with a futuristic food preparation area.
A source said: "Victoria's planning a massive overhaul of the whole place, while remaining sympathetic to the house's original features. She's set aside a cool half a million for her James Bond-style kitchen alone.
"It won't even look like a kitchen when it's done as all of the appliances - the cooker, the fridge - will disappear into marble units at the press of a button.
"Victoria also has plans to grow her own organic veggies - macrobiotic salads, alfalfa sprouts and so on - in a state-of-the-art greenhouse outside."
The seven-bedroom, eight bathroom property will also include recreational areas for the couple's children - Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old Harper - and a dedicated "man den" for David, who also wants a dark room to indulge in his passion for photography.
The source said: "The boys are having their own gaming room - Romeo's really into the drums right now so it will be soundproofed too.
"David's asked for his own office, with oak-panelled walls. They're thinking Ralph Lauren-style."
Victoria's relaxation space will come in the form of a state-of-the-art exercise area.
The source told heat magazine: "Victoria's spending around £100,000 on a home gym so she can work out with one of Tracey Anderson's trainers, and there's even talk of a Bikram yoga studio."
