The couple - who met on the set of 2007 movie 'Charlie Bartlett' - tied the knot in an intimate ceremony officiated by their actress friend Missi Pyle and attended by their former co-stars Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kazan at the Triunfo Creek Vineyards in Malibu Canyon, California, on Saturday (10.10.15).

Megan told Us Weekly magazine: "It was everything we wanted it to be and it was so nice after so many years together to finally celebrate our relationship with all of our friends and family.

"It's nice to have everyone we love in one place finally for all these years to celebrate our love for each other."

The 31-year-old singer-and-actor and his 'Secret Life of the American Teenager' star partner exchanged personalised vows during the ceremony, before enjoying an outdoor celebration with their guests which included a food truck, bluegrass band and ping pong tables.

Tyler said: "We have a lot of barbecues and hangs with our friends and family and we wanted this to kind of feel the same way, but just at this winery.

"We just kind of were throwing a little party that we'd want to be at!"

The pair opted to have a maid of honour and best man at the autumn-themed nuptials, but no bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Megan, 29, explained: "We felt like there were so many people that we would want to have, include in it, but we decided to sort of keep it simple and just have a maid of honour and best man and be happy that everybody else was there."

The couple admit they were unsure whether getting married would be "worth doing" after being together for so long but they were overwhelmed on their big day.

They said: "We've both always wondered if a wedding would be worth doing when we've loved each other so much for so long already.

"But to see all our different groups and families making friends with each other and supporting us was overwhelming beyond what we ever would have expected!! We were our most honest and open selves in front of the people the meant the most to us. It was a priceless evening, to say the least and we've got big stupid smiles on our faces this morning!"
