Tulisa Contostavlos has signed with a top agency in a bid to break Hollywood.
The N Dubz singer will be represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment in Los Angeles and is flying to the city soon for meetings as she attempts to launch an acting career.
Her agent Mara Santino told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We are super-excited to represent Tulisa and introduce her talents to the American TV and film industry."
And a source added: "Tulisa has shunned all reality TV offers as she wants her career to take a serious direction. She has always acted and has dreamed of being in films. This is set to be her big break.
"She has been low-key lately as she wants to rebrand herself."
The company represents stars including Olivia Cooke, Maika Monroe, Alex Roe, Stephen Moyer, Shane West, Ryan Guzman and Hayden Christensen.
Meanwhile, Tulisa, 27, recently released new music for the first time in over a year.
Tulisa features on Carnao Beats' new single 'Love You for Tonight' and previously insisted she wasn't planning a new album any time soon.
She said: "I'm not even working on an album. I've decided to strictly focus on singles.
"When I'm at the point musically where I feel like I've got back up to where I want to be and prove myself, then I feel like I'll start focusing on an album.
"Right now, I'm just focusing on hit after hit. For me, if it's not a single I'll put it to one side like, 'OK, that's for the album one day, whenever that will be'."
