Tom Fletcher is releasing a children's book.
The McFly singer - who recently welcomed his second son Buddy with wife Giovanna Fletcher - announced in a four-minute video titled 'Live From The Delivery Room' that he has written a children's novel 'A Christmasaurus'.
Tom's jokey video opens with a press conference to announce the book but cuts to him via Skype as he explains he can't make it because Giovanna has gone into labour.
The clip shows Giovanna behind him in a hospital bed as Tom explains: "I didn't want to miss this opportunity to tell you all about my new book. It's my first ever novel and it's called 'The Christmasauras'.
"'The Christmasauras' is a story about a boy called William Trundell and a dinosaur, the Christmasauras, and how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure.
"It's about families and friendships, Santa and sleigh bells, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic, and it's about finding your heart's true desire.
"One of the things I'm most excited about is that I've been writing music to help bring the story to life."
He then plays a ukulele and sings one of the songs he has written for the book while hospital staff accompany him to his wife's despair.
Tom and Giovanna - who is a successful novelist - also have a 23-month-old toddler Buzz together.
