Tina Fey's new sitcom has been picked up by CBS.
The '30 Rock' and 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' creator will film a pilot for her multi-camera show 'The Kicker' about an NFL player who gets cut from his team and drives his family, friends and teammates crazy with his misery.
Jack Burditt will write the sitcom, and will executive produce with Tina and Robert Carlock.
While Tina has put much of her focus on her big screen acting career since sitcom '30 Rock' ended, she has also been keeping busy with the Netflix show 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt', which she created.
The show, starring Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski, has been picked up by the streaming service for a third season.
The series three renewal was announced before the second season has even aired.
It tells the story of a woman who has escaped from a doomsday cult and starts life over in New York and will return to Netflix in April.
