Peaches Geldof's half-sister Tiger Lily has been helping her widowed husband come to terms with her death.
The 17-year-old star, who was only four when she was found near the dead body of her mother Paula Yates, has been supporting her brother-in-law Thomas Cohen through his heartbreak following the death of Peaches last month.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tiger has been phenomenal. She has been unbelievably strong, kind and selfless."
Tiger, who was adopted by Peaches' father Sir Bob Geldof, has promised Thomas that his sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, 12 months, who was found with Peaches' corpse, will be able to get through life without their mother around.
The source explained: "She knows Tom and his family can't bear to think what will happen when the boys are old enough to realise what went on with their mum, particularly how they will explain to Phaedra that he was with her when his mum died because of heroin.
"She keeps telling them that, like her, the boys will be OK and that everyone just has to be there for them."
Peaches was found dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, on April 7 and toxicology tests revealed she "likely" died from the highly addictive drug heroin.
The blonde beauty's mother Paula suffered the same fate in 2000 when she died of an accidental heroin overdose aged just 41.
