Terrence Howard is trying to get his daughters into the entertainment industry.
The 55-year-old actor - who has Aubrey, 25, Hunter, 23, and Heaven, 21 from his first marriage to Lori McCommas as well as sons Quirin, nine, and Hero, eight, with wife Mira Pak - is sure that his girls have what it takes to follow in his footsteps and treated that audiences will be seeing "a lot more" of them in the not-too-distant future.
He told E! News: "We’re probably gonna get to see a lot more of my daughters. They’ve been working to get into the industry. They will take you for everything you’ve got, but there's some joy in it.
"There’s something that draws us here."
Meanwhile, the 'Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist' star is known for frequently working with Taraji P. Henson having starred with her on 'Empire' and 'Hustle and Flow' and joked that they both feel like they are the "grandparents" to the next generation of showbusiness stars.
He said: "She’s been my partner with regard to making our way through entertainment. We’ve gone through the same battles. We’ve gone through being poor together. We’ve gone through having a great deal of success together.
"We're the grandparents. We’re watching everything grow, so it’s a beautiful thing."
The 'Iron Man' star is aware just what an "impact" his career can have on up-and-coming stars as he recalled having a conversation with esteemed actor James Earl Jones before he made it big.
"The biggest impact we can make is being genuine with people, I remember James Earl Jones looked me in the eye and treated me like a man even though I was a kid.
"You don’t realize you’ve made that impact. He made a huge difference.”
