Teri Hatcher loves swimming with whales and elephants because it means she can explore her adventurous side and loves to splashing around in water with large mammals.
She told UK radio station Magic 105.4: "I think I am the voice of reason, I also have a lot of adventure in me ... I have this thing with water, if there's a whale in the ocean, I'll just jump in and start swimming with it. When I was in Malaysia there was this dirty river, but there were elephants in it and I just though 'I have to go be there!' Maybe I have a good balance in me!"
Teri shot to fame on US TV series 'Desperate Housewives' where she played fun-loving Susan Delfino and is hoping to revisit her bubbly character in a big screen adaptation.
She previously said: "I love the fans of the show so much, and they don't seem to be done with those characters. I think it would be great for them. If a script ever came across my lap, I would read it hoping that it would work out, but I don't really see that happening."
