Taylor Swift's girl squad has paid tribute to her on her 26th birthday.

The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker turned 26 on Sunday (13.12.15) and to celebrate, some of her closest pals including Selena Gomez and Jaime King, took to social media to share sweet messages.

Selena posted a picture of them together and wrote on Instagram: "I don't know life without you Taylor. Happy birthday!"

And 'Hart of Dixie' actress Jaime shared a picture she took of Taylor and penned an emotional message.

She wrote: "Dear Tay- Tomorrow is your birthday and I will be in the air. This picture I took of you brings back the fondest of memories. It captures all of your beauty that I know, that the world knows, in one photograph. You have the uncanny ability to just get straight into the Soul's of us all in one shot. Taylor - who has jetted back to Los Angeles after wrapping up her '1989' world tour - marked her birthday by posting a picture of herself as a child with the caption: "Today I begin my 26th year of freaking out over stuff."
