The couple haven't been spotted in public for 11 days, their longest period without each other since they started dating in June, because they have been so busy with work, but they are said to be "100 per cent" still together.
A source close to the pair told The Sun newspaper: "Tom and Taylor are 100 per cent still an item.
"They are both focusing on work at the moment but will be back in each other's company again soon."
Taylor, 26, has been hanging out in New York, where she has been spotted hitting the gym on several occasions.
But Tom is around 10,000 miles away from his significant other in Australia, where he is shooting new movie 'Thor: Ragnarok'.
The 35-year-old actor is to reprise his role of Loki in the new film and clearly has a bit of spare time on his hands in between scenes as the hunk set himself up on Instagram yesterday (09.08.16).
His first post was a picture of himself in costume as Loki complete with his alter-ego's long locks.
He is yet to follow Taylor on the picture-sharing social media site.
But he isn't following anyone at the time of writing, despite amassing nearly half a million followers.
Since he started dating Taylor, Tom has been in the spotlight even more and he recently insisted he tries to remain "authentic".
When asked if the focus on his personal life bothers him, he said: "I don't know, it comes down to being authentic.
"Everything you do you have to make sure you truly believe in it and as long as you know that, it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it because the nature of being a public figure is that everyone will have an opinion about anything you do, and as long as you know why you've done something and you've committed to it with authenticity then you're OK."
