Tamara Ecclestone bought her daughter a dog for her first birthday.
The socialite and husband Jay Rutland's little girl Sophia recently turned one and the couple wanted to mark the occasion with an extra special pooch present for the toddler.
Tamara said: "We got her a Cavalier King Charles spaniel called Lady, and a Build-a-Bear [teddy bear] which Jay and I recorded our voices in so she can keep it forever."
Sophia's birthday was marked with a lavish princess-themed party, which also boasted a petting zoo of animals including a baby zebra, and Tamara began planning the bash the day her baby was born.
She admitted: "In my head, I've been planning this party since the day she was born. From January the plans were official. One is such an incredible milestone ...
"Sophia's party was always going to have a pink princess theme."
Despite the little girl's age, Tamara is convinced she will remember the party forever.
She added: "I just think it's nice for a girl to have a memory of a fairy princess party.
"Sophia woke up in a really good mood this morning. I think she realises something is going on because there are lots of people."
The 30-year-old heiress commissioned a 4ft castle cake for Sophia because it was similar to one she had as a girl.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "I had a very similar fairytale castle cake when I was youner, so I knew I wanted it for Sophia.
"I go crazy for all the celebrations - I love Christmas and birthdays - but now Sophia is here, celebrating is all the more amazing because really it is all about children. I'm so happy to be doing this for her."
