Susan Sarandon has sparked rumours she's dating again.
The 69-year-old actress set tongues wagging last week when she arrived at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York for the opening ceremony of the US Open Tennis Championship with a hunky mystery man, her son Miles, 24, and his female pal.
An eagle-eyed onlooker told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "They weren't overly affectionate, but they were chatting, and she would occasionally touch her hair and smile. It seemed like this could be something new, but Susan was definitely playing it cool."
Susan's new romance comes just 18 months after she split from her lover Jonathan Bricklin, 37.
The former couple called time on their five-year relationship because the 'Lovely Bones' star struggled to cope with having their lives filmed for Morgan Spurlock's reality series 'Connected', which follows six couples over six months.
A source said at the time: "It caused a lot of strain in the relationship. It's documented for the show that Susan breaks up with him because she doesn't want to be involved with the show. She says, 'You're a cast member, I'm not.' "
However, their split may not have been completely about the show as Susan has made no secret of the fact she's found it difficult to move on from Tim Robbins, with whom she has Miles and older son Jack, 27, after they split in 2009 following 23 years together.
Meanwhile, Susan - who was married to Chris Sarandon from 1967 to 1979 and previously dated David Bowie and filmmaker Franco Amurri - recently admitted she "misses" being in love.
She said: "I guess the dating thing hasn't worked out for me. I don't mind being alone, but I do like being in love, so I miss that. The problem is, I'm kind of at the mercy of the gods in terms of who I meet."
Susan also has daughter Eva, 31, with Franco.
