Steve Aoki has pleaded with people in Las Vegas to "stay indoors" following a mass shooting.
The 39-year-old electro house musician - who is due to play a show in the city on Tuesday (03.10.17) - has asked his fans and others not to go outside if they are in the area after more than 50 people were left dead when a gunman opened fire near the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, on Sunday (01.10.17).
In a tearful video message on Twitter, he said: "What's up, guys? A lot of people have been trying to reach to me. Just want you all to know I'm OK. But a lot of people out there are not.
"So check on each other if you have any Vegas friends, make sure everyone's OK and stay indoors, don't go out."
Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said in a statement: "I don't know yet, but we are looking at excess of 50 individuals dead and over 200 individuals injured at the point."
Steve is due to perform at the Omnia Nightclub in Vegas on Tuesday before heading to San Diego for a show on Friday (06.10.17).
The gunman opened fire on the crowd at the Route 91 Festival, and police have confirmed he was killed after a SWAT team burst into the hotel room where he was firing from.
Country music star Jason Aldean was performing on stage at the time of the attack and some eye witnesses thought the noise was fireworks.
