A number of new posters from 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' have been released.
The franchise's official website has unveiled five new character images from the eagerly awaited blockbuster, which stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley, ahead of its release on December 17, 2015.
While the movie, which was written and directed by J.J. Abrams, has been shrouded in secrecy, the posters give fans a closer look at Harrison's character Han Solo, who looks grim as he holds his blaster, as well as Kylo Ren, Finn, Rey and Leia.
Carrie, Daisy, and John also each revealed their own posters via Twitter and Instagram.
Daisy, 23, who portrays Rey, shared the image of her holding her staff defiantly in her poster, with the caption: "It is my very great honour to reveal this INSANELY EXCITING poster for The Force Awakens!!!! IT'S REY!!! Looking all freckly from the Jakku sun and as if there's an adventure to be had!!! AHHHH! (sic)"
Meanwhile, Carrie, 59, who plays Leia, wrote alongside a shot of her poster: "Oh Luke, don't ask for the moon, we have the force. #TheForceAwakens"
Harrison, 73, recently predicted fans would love the film and hopes the plot remains a secret until it's release.
He said: "Why would you want to say anything [about it]? I want the audience to experience it. I don't want them to hear about it.
"I can tell you this - it's really, really good. Trust me, it's really good. The new cast... Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are phenomenal.
"JJ has made an incredible movie. You will not be disappointed at all. I promise you."
