Spencer Matthews has promised to up his game on 'The Jump'.
The former 'Made in Chelsea' star was forced to tackle the tough ski jump on Sunday (05.02.17) evening's show after losing to Louis Smith in the ski slalom, but he insists the Olympic gymnast was a worthy winner of their heat and has vowed to do better next week.
He tweeted: "Congrats on some great skiing this evening @louissmith1989!! Hats off to you sir... @Channel4 #TheJump - I promise to up my game...(sic)"
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old hunk has blasted claims he has been forced to curb his TV appearances by disapproving royal aides as his brother James Matthews is preparing to wed Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Prince William's wife Duchess Catherine.
He said: "I can't be [under restrictions] because I'm here aren't I?
"No, it's a reality show, so obviously it's not true. It can't be.
"That was a strange rumour and I find it odd."
And Spencer also criticised the "rubbish" that is frequently written about him and insisted the media should find more important things to write about than "nonsense" about celebrities.
He fumed to RadioTimes.com: "I personally believe that people print false information on a daily basis, that's how the world goes round.
"In particular with celebrity life, like I'm calling myself a celebrity, but most of the stuff written about me is just rubbish. To be honest.
"It sells stories! If there was a better quality of journalist in the world who reported real stories that were real, and had an impact on people, that would be ideal. But at the moment, most people are just obsessed with nonsense."
Last night saw Josie Gibson eliminated from 'The Jump' after she refused to even try the terrifying leap.
