Snooki thinks Pauly D is going to be an "amazing father."
The reality star, who has a 14-month-old son, Lorenzo, with her fiance Jionni De LaValle, admitted she was shocked by the news her former co-star recently discovered he fathered a baby girl, Amabella, with a mystery woman in May, but she has no doubt he will take good care of his new daughter.
Snooki told EOnline, "I'm so happy for Pauly. Definitely a shock to all of us, but we know Pauly is the best and he's going to be an amazing father. He's so loving and caring."
She added: "I can't wait for Lorenzo and her to play!"
The 33-year-old DJ previously said he was "very excited" to have welcomed his first child because he "has always wanted kids" and was ready to move on from his party boy past.
Pauly met the mother of his baby in Las Vegas and she is now living in New Jersey so they can raise their child together.
The new dad said that although they "didn't have a previous relationship" he "is hoping to develop a relationship," according to a source.
Pauly's other former co-star JWoww also rushed to congratulate him.
She said: "Holy s**t I just heard! I'm so f**king happy for him I just texted him. Crying! He's going to be the best dad ever!"
