Sir Mick Jagger has paid tribute to his late girlfriend, L'Wren Scott on her birthday.
L 'Wren was tragically found dead by her assistant in her apartment in Manhattan, New York City, in March 2014, with police confirming it was suicide.
Remembering L'Wren - on what would have been her 50th birthday today (28.04.15) - The Rolling Stones frontman posted a photo on his Twitter page along with a short tribute.
The caption posted with the photo read: "Remembering L'Wren on her birthday Photo by Jean Pigozzi (sic)."
The 71-year-old musician was devastated when he heard his late girlfriend who he met in 2001 had passed away.
The 'Satisfaction' hitmaker appreciated her contribution to fashion as a designer, and in her memory he recently set up a fashion scholarship as a fitting tribute to the designer.
He described his former companion as an "extraordinary designer".
The course director of MA Fashion, Fabio Piras, said in a statement he is "very grateful to receive this extremely generous scholarship package".
The scholarship is offered to one master degree student a year and allows them to attend Central Saint Martins in London.
Beneficiaries of the grant will have their tuition paid for along with some living expenses.
